Paul & Emily tied the knot! {Michigan Wedding Photographer, Detroit, Macomb}
Friday, October 21, 2011 at 09:00AM After the fun we had at our engagement shoot, I knew Paul and Emily would have a blast at their wedding!
First of all, the dress was TO. DIE. FOR. Then the bridesmaids were gorgeous and the groomsmen were all so handsome. It's a good thing I'm confident or I might have left this event with a serious complex! :)
The ceremony was such a wonderful celebration. It was personal, and filled with worship music and prayer. They put their own touches everywhere (even incorporating landscaping they plan to use at their new house!) and it's clear they are surrounded by people that love them very much. They're off to a great start!
Ashley - Class of 2012 - L'anse Creuse North H.S. {Michigan Senior Photographer, Macomb, Chesterfield}
Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 09:00AM This girl turned out to be WAY more fun than I expected, and I was already expecting a lot! We did an initital session in downtown Mt. Clemens with her sisters and mom in tow. We didn't know each other, so I held back a lot so I didn't scare her mom off. Apparently, it wasn't necessary because these girls were amazing and so funny!
She wanted a set of more athletically-themed pictures, so we picked a second date and brought along her best pal, Kayla. Here's a quick summary: We fought off swarms of biting gnats and threatened to hide the shoes of some kids on the playground. Then, I was NOT prepared for the Taylor Swift sing-along, but I did consent to rap for them. So, yeah, it was a good day.
Ashley - you're cute like a pickle... I just wish I got a picture of you "bringing it back" for your sisters. :)
The "S" Family {Michigan Family Photographer, Macomb, Warren}
Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 12:02PM Dear goodness gracious. Wait until you see this family! Talk about gorgeous! Some days my job is just really, really easy...
My personal favorite is the one in the middle where the little brother is squishing big brother's face into the ground. First of all, the parents behind me saying, "Get Brother! Get Brother!" were hilarious. Big brother knew what was coming and just let the little tank pummel him into the ground. He even ate grass and didn't mind a bit! There is some serious fun happening at that house, and they are all just so sweet to each other!

Marina - Class of 2012 - Waterford Kettering High School {Waterford Senior Photographer}
Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 09:00AM I love working with high school seniors, and this session was no exception! Marina is (1) gorgeous, (2) sweet, (3) cool, and (4) has a fun mom! She lives on a lake and spends a TON of time wakeboarding, so we wanted to incorporate that into her session.
We were blessed with great weather (for both sessions) and came out with some spectacular images. Plus, pretty blue eyes and dimples make my work easy! :)
